Another Successful 2 Day Cut & Color Class

We are so proud of Jennifer who works with us at Salon b! She passed her American Board of Certified Haircolorist Exam in Boston! One must understand how difficult it is to pass - for example, 21 candidates were scheduled to take it, 4 were no-shows..., and of the remaining 17, only 7 passed -- Jen was one of those 7! Watch for her as she will now join us in being featured in many haircolor magazines!

Cutting at the Capitol - "WOW"

Our wonderful team was at "WOW" again! "Welcome to Our World" is an annual event uniting cosmetologists and the legislators so that we can keep them aware of the relevant issues that we face in our industry. As we cut their hair the lines of communication are definitely open! We've contributed every year and next year will be the 10th anniversary!

Brazilian Blowout

Yes, we offer the Brazilian Blowout!
The Brazilian Blowout is a professional in-salon treatment that takes 2 hours. It starts with a deep cleansing shampoo that creates the right surface for best absorption of the chemical, then it is followed by a thorough blow dry and flat iron. The client then goes back to the shampoo bowl for a final rinse and back to the hair station for a final blowout.
This is a cumulative process and unlike any other relaxer it actually improves hair condition by creating a protein protective layer around the hair shaft resulting in a smooth surface able to reflect light.
This revolutionary treatment is beneficial and suitable for all hair types, especially for damaged and chemically processed hair because it enhances the absorption of the brazilian blowout solution.
The result is shiny, straight hair with no downtime, the client leaves the salon with ready to wear hair. This procedure does not require commitment, regrowth application and will last for 2-6 months.
The Brazilian Blowout also offers an after care maintenance line called Brasil Cacau, this post treatment line will prolong the efficiency of this procedure by combining the use of daily shampoo and a deep conditioning masque.
